Rear ball bearing : The rear ball bearing is available with ceramic balls for PLUS 12-3SCT and with steel balls for the PLUS 12-3ST

Sleeve: The 3 ports sleeve is made in hard-chromed brass alloy ( true ABC construction).

Crankcase: The crankcase is higher and has an extra cooling fin for improved cooling.

Long stroke: This engine type has a longer stroke than other .12 engines. This provides more torque at low rpm.

Piston: The piston is realized with a new technique developed by Novarossi (microcasting); it is stronger and lighter than standard pistons; it maintains a better compression at higher temperatures.

Crankshaft: The crankshaft is made from high quality steel and is available in "TURBO SG" version. It has a diameter of 11.50mm. The increased diameter provides more torsional stiffness.
